Oh me oh my!

Our team is THRILLED to have been awarded Best Photography at the 2023 Anvil Awards, presented by Ad Rodeo Calgary, for our work with our amazing clients Nugu and talented photographer Chris Amat. The Anvil Awards were developed to honour excellence in advertising, design and development and to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for creating this work within Calgary.

Along with a full rebrand, Shopify website, and packaging design, we were able to position Nugu for their North American launch with this set of creative photography highlighting their beautiful, art-forward pieces designed for both home and restaurant use. Nugu required positioning to set them apart from their competition, and if we're being honest, we had a lot to work with.

For this set of launch photos, we focused on highlighting the beauty of their Everyday and Occasional Dining collections. From the typical breakfast scene to the exquisitely plated octopi, we were able to target everyone from the everyday at-home foodie to the high-end restauranteur.

To be considered and awarded amongst a room of incredible creatives, writers, and agencies was truly an experience we will never forget.



Kudos to our incredible photographer on this project — Chris made all of our dreams come true on this shoot, and we’re consistently in awe of his work and team.
